Here is a member of the Guild of Makers activating objects which will be used in some sort of ritualistic process. This speaks to the ideas I have around the magic of making as an artist. The very act of transforming or alchemising something from nothing is, in my opinion, a magical process.
In a lot of ritualistic traditions around the world, magical objects are used to aid the process of connecting with the divine or otherworldly, and I find it interesting that the artist is very much involved in this process, helping to create these magical objects.
